I cant find a post but somebody described how you can side with bhelen and still open proving grounds do proving fights and still side with bhelen after.

Orzammar proving is an arena where provings take place and in which dwarves fight and are considered favored by the ancestors should they win.
This arena is located in the orzammar commons.
Mages will need to be careful about being hit by the strong dwarf fighters but any half decent mage should be able to stun freeze or paralyze your opponents.
There are strict rules and the dwarves consider the winners highly.
