I purchased 10 lights opened a good one to compare to a few bad non functioning units only was able to repair one and 4 bad lights seems poor quality controll. It offers a moderate amount of light although it does not compare to the brightness of a wired floodlight. Make sure you place your light at a location where it gets direct sun light. For the price and convenience i feel that most consumers will find it to be a positive investment. Simply peel off the backing. Some work some don t work. The console does not care what kind of 8000 series scoreboard it is talking to.
